Stedelijk Museum: from own room to open office

Stedelijk Museum: from own room to open office

The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam has just opened for visitors. But the office staff already moved into the new building.

Formerly the employees worked in a room alone of with one or two collegues at most. Now they have flexible working stations in a large open workspace. Ahrend kept the sleek design in the colors black, gray and white. And there are some red accents in the Ahrend Napoli lounge corner and the Ahrend Living Wall, an acoustic wall system.

Everyone has now found his niche, sometimes working in a place between colleagues is nice, while another time you need to be able to consult with colleagues
or work in a silence place where you can concentrate. Although the temptation to be distracted by the view of the Museumplein is large.
