ŠKODA AUTO Showrooms

Royal Ahrend and its subsidiary TECHO delivered the new design concept of ŠKODA AUTO showrooms across the globe. It consists of more than 1,000 showrooms, most of which are in Germany, China, Czech Republic and Great Britain.

The assignment

A new international strategy for ŠKODA AUTO brought about the need for an office furniture producer to oversee the development, execution and rollout of their new showroom concept. After all, the showroom is the most tangible place to give shape to the brand identity of ŠKODA. Another requirement was that  the supplier of the furniture should have the logistic capabilities to execute more than 1,000 ŠKODA AUTO showrooms with a makeover.

The solution

The new showroom concept is focused on creating a representative and unmistakable environment with a younger and more dynamic impression. The modernisation involves  not only the furniture and seating, but also the external and internal signage, new flooring and lighting. The design elements are exceptionally flexible and can be adapted to the individual needs of each showroom. The basic colours are elegant white and refreshing green, which are complemented by a warm natural wood decor, Šumava, that was produced exclusively for this project.
