Step 1: Inventory
Every consultation starts with an inventory of existing furniture. What are the wishes of your organization and how can we achieve them together as sustainably as possible? With our Quality Scan, we determine the starting point for your new circular design. These Scans show the extent to which the current interior lends itself to reuse, revitalisation or other circular solutions such as component replacement.
Step 2: Advice
Based on the Quick and Quality Scan and starting points, we advise on the right mix and amount of circular furniture: From refurbishing existing furniture to new circular workplaces and from revived furniture with a second life to recycling parts. We can also recommend a service, for example Furniture as a Service; this way, you only pay for using the circular furniture.
Step 3: Circular management and maintenance
Our furniture is made from as many sustainable raw materials as possible and has a modular structure. This means they have a long lifespan with the option to replace or reuse parts. You thus achieve the most important sustainable objective: Optimal value retention. Preventive maintenance of the furniture helps with this. With the Ahrend Asset Management Tool, you keep an overview of the condition of your entire furniture range.

We keep learning
We are continuously working to increase our own knowledge about our circular services. That is why we are an active member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, a network of large, international companies that jointly drive the circular economy. Ahrend works with partners within the Dutch Green Building Council on circular, climate-neutral and healthy buildings. We are delighted to share the knowledge we acquire here.
