The Ahrend Remode seamlessly combines comfort, style, and sustainability. Its well-thought-out design, extensive adjustability, and carefully selected materials ensure optimal seating comfort. Whether you sit for five minutes or an entire workday, the Ahrend Remode offers a perfect fit. Designed by Ben van Berkel of UNStudio, its striking aesthetics make it a perfect addition to any environment.

Sustainability

The Ahrend Remode is designed with full circularity in mind, ensuring it lasts for generations. This innovative office chair is lightweight, modular, and crafted from recycled and recyclable materials, including ocean plastic.

Engineered to minimise weight and material usage, the chair is approximately 30% lighter than the average office chair. Its modular design allows all components to be easily disassembled, making them simple to repair, replace, and recycle. This extends the lifespan of both the chair and the materials used. At the end of its lifecycle, 98.7% of its materials can be recycled. The net weave fabric is made from 80% post-consumer recycled polyester and is Cradle to Cradle® certified. The black variant of the chair consists of 50.1% recycled materials, with 78% of the plastic components being recycled, 62% of which originates from the ocean.

The controls are intuitively placed and clearly marked, allowing you to adjust settings effortlessly from a seated position. The height adjustment button is easily recognisable thanks to its striking colour.
