In purchase of essential

After completing an entrepreneurial project back in 1989, today, Arper has become an international brand, focused on design. Arper products are the product of a rigorous mix of technology, costs, materials, function and use.

The commitment to environmental sustainability is the cornerstone of Arper’s production policy, leading to ISO 14001 certification and to the use of the LCA method. Several Arper products have received leading international certification including EPD, GreenGuard, GECA, and Greenstar.

Arper collections are distributed in 90 countries, via an international sales network and displayed in single-brand showrooms worldwide: Milan, Cologne, New York, Stockholm, London, Chicago; Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Dubai are opening soon.

The Amsterdam showroom will be the Arper hub for central countries. Located at the beautiful Design Post, it will display Arper collections and will host events for the guests throughout the year.

The DNA of Arper, which approaches design as a means of action and communication, expresses itself through a special focus on color and system flexibility, in a costant dialogue between form and function.

One of the most successful Arper collections is the Catifa chair collection. Today it’s presented in six different versions and it has sold over 2 million units since 2001.

Among the designers that have designed Arper’s most successful products are:

  • Jean-Marie Massaud (the Steeve sofa launched at the Salone del Mobile 2015, and the Aston executive and lounge chair)
  • James Irvine (Juno chair)
  • Simon Pengelly (the Nuur table, winner of the Compasso d’Oro in 2011)
  • Antti Kotilainen (Aava collection)
  • the Metrica Studio (Cross table)
  • Ichiro Iwasaki (Pix ottoman).
