Comfort & Ergonomics

The Ahrend 2020 moves with you. Its synchronised mechanism and flexible seat with honeycomb structure support your body in every posture. The 3D armrests are adjustable in height, width and depth, and their design ensures a perfect fit with your desk. The backrest is available in netweave, upholstered or with a fabric cover. The lumbar support can be easily adjusted to suit your body.

The Ahrend 2020 Collection is tested and certified according to ergonomic standards EN 1335, NPR 1813 and ANSI BIFMA X5.1.

Models

The Ahrend 2020 Collection consists of four variants, each with its own character and application:

Luvia – Fully adjustable and suitable for everyone. Ideal for flexible workspaces and home offices.
Verta – Compact and versatile. Perfect for smaller spaces and shorter work sessions.
Extra Verta – With a high backrest for extra support during long, focused work.
Work – Specially designed for high workstations, featuring a tall gas lift and foot ring.

Each variant is available in various colours and finishes, with the optional Glow seat for added comfort.

Sustainability

The Ahrend 2020 is designed according to the Cradle to Cradle design philosophy and carries the Gold certificate. The chair is fully modular, with click connections and Torx screws, making parts easy to replace, reuse or recycle. 50% of the total weight consists of recycled materials.* The production process is efficient and environmentally conscious, with minimal material waste.

Glow seat

The optional Glow seat, developed in collaboration with Stoov, features wireless infrared heating. Ideal for colder work environments such as reception areas or home offices. The temperature can be set to three levels, and the seat is rechargeable and flexible in use.

Materials
