Comfort and appearance

Ahrend Zoniq combines high performance with a soft, refined appearance. The upholstered inner and outer walls create a calm atmosphere, while elegant details, such as the horizontal wood‑look frame, rounded corner elements and wooden door handle, refine the design.

The ceiling consists of a carefully considered combination of upholstered and LED panels. This balance between acoustics and lighting contributes to comfortable use, even during longer meetings or intensive collaboration.

Unique is the floor‑free design: the office pod connects directly to the existing office floor. This enhances the sense of space, simplifies installation and improves accessibility.

Ventilation

For comfortable, long‑term use, a healthy indoor climate is essential. Ahrend Zoniq features an innovative ventilation system that uses natural airflows. Cool air is supplied from the underside and guided upwards along the walls; warm air is extracted via fans in the ceiling, while an intelligent internal system prevents fresh and used air from mixing.

Each ceiling module has its own fan, allowing the ventilation capacity to scale automatically with the size of the configuration. This ensures a comfortable and consistent indoor climate in every variant. Using the control panel, ventilation can be easily adjusted to personal preference.

Acoustics

In open offices, conversations are often the main source of distraction. Ahrend Zoniq provides an effective acoustic solution. Thanks to its closed construction and high‑quality materials, sound from inside and outside the pod is significantly reduced.

The office pod meets class B of the ISO 23351 standard* for speech reduction. In addition, the interior walls and ceiling are fully upholstered, preventing reverberation and ensuring conversations are pleasant and clear. This creates a calm workspace for users as well as for the surrounding office environment.

100% modular and flexible

Ahrend Zoniq is designed to move with organisations that grow and change. The office pod is fully modular in design, based on a fixed 80 cm grid structure and constructed from lightweight, replaceable components. This makes on‑site installation, expansion and reconfiguration simple and efficient.

You can choose from standard sizes ranging from 4 m² to 18 m², or opt for custom dimensions in steps of 80 cm. The door position is flexible (left, right or centre), and accessories such as whiteboards, monitor frames and booking systems can easily be added. This allows you to fully tailor Ahrend Zoniq to the way your organisation works.

Accessibility

Ahrend Zoniq is designed with accessibility in mind and is suitable for inclusive use. The office pod features a standard wheelchair‑accessible door opening of 92 cm and a minimal, bevelled threshold. As a result, the office pod comfortably complies with national and international accessibility legislation and guidelines, including European standards and international regulations.

Sustainability

Sustainability is an integral part of the design. Thanks to its modular construction, demountable connections and replaceable components, Ahrend Zoniq has a long service life. Components and materials are easy to separate and can be reused within the collection or via our Circular Hub.

The floor‑free design reduces material use and transport volume, while the lightweight construction, thanks to high material efficiency where exactly the right amount of material is used, delivers high acoustic performance using as few raw materials as possible.

Materialisation

Align the appearance of Ahrend Zoniq with your corporate identity and surrounding interior. Both the interior and exterior walls can be upholstered in fabrics from the Ahrend standard upholstery collection. The interior is beige as standard but can be customised optionally. The upper and lower sections of the interior walls can even be executed in different colours, allowing for a wide range of design possibilities.
