Ahrend wins three Red Dot Design Awards 2026

The awards were presented on 7 July during Designers’ Night at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany. This achievement reflects Ahrend’s continued commitment to developing products that combine design excellence, user wellbeing and sustainability.

Ahrend Alvido 

Designed by Marck Haans, Head of Design at Ahrend, the Ahrend Alvido is a modular storage solution that combines functionality, flexibility and timeless design. Whether used as a room divider, storage unit or presentation wall, Alvido adapts effortlessly to the changing needs of contemporary workplaces. 

Its modular construction and patented connection system enable components to be repaired, replaced, reused and recycled with ease. Developed in line with Ahrend’s circular design principles, Alvido is designed to support multiple lifecycles while maintaining its distinctive architectural appearance.

Ahrend 2020 Luvia 

The Ahrend 2020 Luvia office chair, designed by Paul Brooks, is an evolution of the successful Ahrend 2020. Thanks to its redesigned backrest, its ergonomic qualities have been further improved. The chair was awarded for its strong combination of comfort, ergonomics and sustainability.

With features such as a synchronous movement mechanism, adjustable lumbar support and intuitive adjustment options, the office chair provides optimal seating comfort throughout the entire working day. The chair has been developed according to circular design principles, is Cradle to Cradle Gold certified, and is designed for a long service life.
