Value Hill
At Ahrend, we follow the Value Hill model, through which we ensure that both new and used products are utilised for as long as possible. We achieve this by using durable materials, offering maintenance services and providing furniture take-back and refurbishment options . The goal is to minimise the use of new raw materials. This circular approach reduces CO2 emissions across the entire supply chain and prevents resource wastage. It also helps our clients meet their sustainability goals.
Our circular services are becoming an increasingly important part of our business. We focus more and more on preserving existing furniture and are helping our clients to do the same. We offer circular advice, refurbish furniture on a large scale and offer furniture through subscription services.
The Ahrend Revived Collection consists of refurbished office furniture that meets the same ergonomic standards, quality, and safety requirements as our new furniture. By using this collection, we reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%.
By reusing materials and products, we save up to 40% in CO2 emissions per year. Furniture as a Service is a marketplace for furniture, where customers can return used products. We refurbish the old furniture in the Circular Hub and redeploy it to other customers. This way, we prevent waste of products and materials while contributing to organisations' CO2 reduction goals.
