What is the Circular Hub?

At our Circular Hub in Veghel, we’ve consolidated all our circular expertise and production facilities into a 12,000 m² space. We breathe new life into used furniture of all types and brands, purchased from or returned by clients. This extends the life of the furniture and contributes to the circular economy.

‘By using circular furniture, you can reduce your CO2 footprint by up to 90%.’
Bob Stamhuis Manager, Circular Hub

How can the Circular Hub help you?

Depending on the client’s needs, the Circular Hub offers various services:

Furniture take-back: We take back existing furniture that clients no longer need. We then inspect the furniture and refurbish when necessary, and ultimately offer the product as new through our Revived Collection to the next customer.

Revived Collection: Our refurbished furniture collection is available from stock, suitable for both small and large orders and delivered within 5 to 10 working days. We can also take back old furniture if needed.

Project-based refurbishment: We refurbish clients' used furniture to make it as good as new, or change the function or specifications of the furniture. We might repurpose a chair base for a side table or customise desks, for example.

Fill in the form here, and we will make an offer for your office furniture.

The Circular Hub Team

In 2021, the Circular Hub started with two colleagues in an empty 12,000 m² warehouse. In just two and a half years, the Hub has grown into a professional production site for revitalising used furniture—including reupholstering and painting. A diverse team of 25 experts, including circular consultants, revitalisation specialists, furniture brokers and colleagues with a distance to the labour market, combine their expertise and skills here. Together, they are making great strides towards a circular economy.

How we guarantee quality

At the Circular Hub, the focus is on quality. We give the same warranty to refurbished furniture as new furniture. To achieve this, we work with skilled craftspeople who specialise in upholstery, painting and powder coating. We use original parts and collaborate with R&D specialists to add new components that meet the latest ergonomic standards.

How we rejuvenate furniture in 5 steps:
  1. We purchase batches of used furniture.
  2. We check the quality.
  3. We refurbish the furniture.
  4. We photograph the furniture.
  5. We prepare the furniture for use.
  1. We purchase used furniture lots
Our furniture brokers specialise in acquiring lots of used furniture. They excel in valuing Ahrend, Gispen, and other premium brands. You can always count on a fair and transparent valuation based on the actual residual value of the product. This ensures everyone receives the same fair price.
  2. We inspect the quality
Each piece of furniture is thoroughly inspected for functionality, technical components (such as electronics), and signs of wear, including scratches or worn upholstery.

  3. We revitalise the furniture
If the inspection reveals a need for improvement, the furniture is sent to our revitalisation workshop. Here, our technicians might replace the wheels on an office chair, reupholster a seat, or repair the electric sit-stand system of a desk.

  4. We photograph the furniture
Once the product is ready for use, we photograph it in our in-house studio. These photos are not edited, ensuring any signs of use remain visible. This way, there are no surprises for buyers.

  5. We prepare the furniture for use
Once sold, the furniture is prepared for transport to the customer. Beforehand, we thoroughly clean it and perform a final quality check. To prevent damage during transit, we rely on our own transport team or specialised furniture carriers. They ensure the furniture is delivered ready to use, placing it in the desired location and taking back all packaging materials..
